Well guys, we have decided to sell the 200. I just had the recent unfortune of having surgery on a staff infection, and a week in the hospital. Add that to the slow ecomomy, and the decision isn't that difficult. Even though I have insurance, the med bills are starting to come in and its time to get rid of some credit card debt still lingering from my college days. I know this is the worse time to sell a boat, but that is usually how it works. What makes it hard is the boat is actually paid for and I got it for a great deal.
Our plans for the future though still stand, I still want to upgrade to a 260DA one day. I was hoping for a trade in, but shxx happens. The time frame for the 260 depends on the sale of our home next year. Even though I have a ton of equity, the banks have changed so many things that they won't let me use any of it. We won't give the home away so if it doesn't sell, then I am ok with that, I just wait longer till my dream of owning a Cruiser comes true. But for now, the sell of the 200 is what we need to do.
Still will be active as we have made a ton of friends. We will just ask to ride along instead of raft up. lol
Anyways, I will not go anywhere as we have met too many friends and one day I will be back with a larger Sea Ray that we can actually trailer around the SE and stay overnight on the water. Will just need AC for the wife....LOL
