Through Hull Exhaust

Yeah that is me, and it is open.

I will take some video next time I'm out on the water of it closed. It is a huge difference between open and closed. The closed basically sounds like an unmodified exhaust of a truck above the water line. Noticeable but no rumble and not very loud at all.

I actually get compliments at the lake all of the time, and questions of what kind of engine I have. It has lead to some nice conversations with people I may not otherwise meet.

If so, is your exhaust open? Could you give us a open and closed exhaust version of this? Many thanks.

Does anyone have any good photos of the engine bay with the through hull exhaust installed? I have a 1999 260 Signature that I want to add side exit exhaust to. Pics of how it is routed would be awesome! Thanks!
