My attempt at sarcasm. Scary that it took so long for anyone to follow the link, scarier that some folks still think the litter boxes are a real thing.

The reason is there is so much bats**t crazy stuff going on that it is actually believable. I think it is more a reflection of the level of idiocy happening today as opposed to gullibility of the general public.

You may want to look up troll farms. There are dozens of governments around the world who pay employees to create fake accounts and comment on things.

My wife communicates with staff at the 'offending' school daily and has been told it is true by both students and staff. My cousin teaches there and is the head H.S. basketball coach but I haven't talked to him in about 10-15 years

Either that or they have a friend on FB who’s had their account jacked. At least kids who have grown up on the internet know that if they can’t verify in real life that it’s their friend’s social media account, it’s probably not them and they just laugh but adults don’t seem so quick to pick it up.
They might be funny to watch on the internet, but they cause some people to become so mentally unstable that they become a danger to others. Then they’re a much bigger problem than the problem they’re allegedly trying to solve. Most of it isn’t in the news to not give the others any ideas they don’t already have.
