Yes I was playing with my Navionics app for my 10 day Bahamas trip and came up with a $5300 dollar diesel bill if it stays at $7.00 a gallon over there… it cost money to have fun!!!

That trip is worth twice that. You gota pay to play! Still jealous of being able to take that trip at any price.

How can they justify raising the slip rate? And charging for water? I haven't ever heard of that anywhere. Don't get me wrong, I believe you, just questioning the marina's reason for this. Other then price gouging just because they can...

You’d have to understand a little college rivalry to get it. Everything in Michigan hangs to the south because Ohio sucks, and the poor folks in ohio can’t even say Michigan, they say college up north. Ohioans can’t pronounce 3 syllable words.

Say what you will about them and use guys. Both are still good people. Go somewhere else and when they call you a Yankee or a damn Yankee and you'll start to appreciate those Ohioans.....

Water is included where I am. I suspect it would cost a small fortune to put meters at every slip

I pay just shy of 1,900 a year just in association fees for the marina, they can cover my few boat washes.

I had no idea they made pontoons 40', I had a 27' prior to the sea ray i have now, and that damn thing felt like a barge.
