Dont have the compressor or tanks yet, This train horn is really LOUD so i need a hidden switch to keep others from blowing it when i'm not looking , cause that can cause problems , but i like it. 107_0907.jpg

I need one of those!

Why they put such puny horns on these boats I'll never know. I carry one of those hand held air blasters with me when I need to get someones attention.

I think you should donate that horn to "Scooter Wayne" for his moped

I got this one years ago at a Pilot truck stop for $160 , i see them in truck stops from time to time , i'm sure ebay has some.

Is that teak wood?? Love the finish on it. Did u it yourself?

It is teak , it's the one the factory put on her back in the 1900's , i just sanded it and put lemon oil on it

that is the finish from sanding and lemon oil? It looks great, I've been wanting to do mine. Do you have to redo every year?

That's much better than the silly Duck fart horn they put on my boat. I also replaced it with a air horn, but nothing like that! Looks great.

Thats it just sand and oil , I wont need to sand it again for a long time , most likely i was the first one to ever sand it when i got it 5 years ago ,but i have to oil her down before i use it everytime , i like to see it oiled up.

Do you do the rest of your teak? WHat kind of sand paper, and is it a light sanding? Sorry for all the questions, but I really like the look and been wanting to do mine. Your boat is very clean. I just buffed mine tonight - compound then wax tomorrow! what year is she? thanks!

Where are you planning on mounting those?

I used 100 grade paper on my palm sander and removed the teak to my shop. I never tried lemon oil, but I use five or six coats of pure tung oil. It's given my teak a warm glow with a semi gloss look. It seems to be holding up very well

thanks for the info!!!
