I’m thinking of boating further upriver. Of course I’ll take every reasonable precaution, keep the kids life jacket on and such.

I think I’ll be OK if I just go fast enough.

Here are some boats that did not make it. They did not go fast enough, that was their mistake.

I think if you trim your props right, you'd be ok. Just remember to wear Depends... they might come in handy.
 
I did the Upper Gulley in West Virginia a dozen times in a 4 man raft.... but that's going down stream. I'd consider it on a jet ski (borrowed of course) but man those dudes are nuts. good luck with the 280.. Take some video, I'm sure it will be as compelling as your "pivot point" demonstration!!!:grin:
 
Oh man...I would love to do that! Holy geez...how many repairs, or even boats do these people go through a year to do this? :wow:

...Because I would do it for FREE! That looks like an awesome ride!
