These Pop-up Ads Are Infuriating!

I wondered what was going on. I just started getting these pop ups a couple days ago, in fact the other day one add froze up my IPad and I had to reset it. this is getting annoying.

Click the AA on the address box to open settings and select “Request Desktop”

Ok, I get it. Lots of steps I can do on different browsers and different platforms that reduces my pop ups on CSR.

Once again other websites that I visit there are no steps required and I get no pop ups across different browsers and platforms.

That said I understand the need for generating monetary value from the website. I quit being a gold sponsor when sending money did not stop pop ups.

I am not unhappy. Not complaining, just stating fact.

If the website removes the pop ups for sponsors, I will send money. If no changes, I will still be here, with an occasional grumble - but so be it.

I just re-upped last week for a year at a lower sponsorship level and it made no difference. If it's still an issue at the next renewal I'm going the cheapo route as well and the site can make their money on my perusing of their ads.

You need to reload the page also

I didn’t intend this to be a long term solution just a validation that it is clubsearay not the browser

These are all Google adds
And you can have an add campaign that is specifically targeted to mobile devices.

Not sure the Admin intended it to be so in your face or apply to sponsors.

I just subscribed for this reason want to support and willing to pay a bit to lose the adds
 
All I know is I added "Adblock Plus" on my CPU for other ads on other sites long before CSR moved to this platform and I have yet to see a "pop up" on this site.

When I got my first work iPhone many years ago, it came with Crystal ad block and I have used it ever since. Never see any ads on CSR.

I have turned both of them off to see the ads when everyone complains because I NEVER see any ads on either device.

This is farking crazy to be looking at CSR in public place and i get this? I make jokes and crazy pics but this crosses the line.

Thanks for letting me know. I get overwhelmed by all the google options and they change stuff up, and run experiments, so I don't know what is going on most of the time with ads. I unchecked a bunch of stuff I have never seen before so that will hopefully tame them down. I'll check back here tomorrow to see if its any better.
