There.... I fixed it.....

You should see my pontoon, I got a great deal on it and it sits in salt all year so I dont care, but..... That light, I wish I had, Apparently when my friend decided to give me a light he failed to mention the fact that it was 6' long, so that one looks good to me. but my steering does work however...... ideas if it ever fails tho, Hell Its been totaled once, and I got it at salvage auction.

How to properly stow your anchor....

I could give this guy a break, if I could assume he got the anchor stuck and this was the result. Which it probably was. But it looks exactly like it did last year...

But hey, the sound system was working good as he pulled into dock with some stripper/gansta crap playing full volume. Must have had it cranked up to "11".

You'd love the "red neck camper top" I used to use on my old Crownline bow rider. I bought a 10 x 10' screen tent, threw away the hardware and threw the thing over the boat. Sweet.

While I can applaud you for living below your means, that's great. One question: What happens if you are hit by a truck tomorrow?

While I certainly have not been living above my means, I have not saved every penny I have earned either. Instead I chose to pursue a life of boating experiences. Have I wasted money? Sure! Will I ever see that money again? Hell no, but I have some great memories spent with my family.

While we are not prepared for a loss of income as well as I would like, looking back over my past, I wouldn't have changed a thing, except becoming a doctor instead of an airline pilot. (And maybe having someone else negotiate my boat deals, I suck at bargining.)

I guess what I am getting at is don't deprive yourself of today hoping for a better tomorrow, it may never come.

Hey! I am a doctor and you have a better boat than me!:lol:

...don't deprive yourself of today hoping for a better tomorrow, it may never come.

I love that ... some people don't.

I am one of those that live for today. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is promised to no man. I even stepped it up a bit when I had 2 brothers die in the last few years in accidents at the ages of 38 and 29. You just fter those incidents, I emptied most of my savings and bought my current boat. For me, boating is all about making memories for my family (my wife and 2 little gals).

I know that was off topic, but it seemed like a good place to squeeze that in.

Go get some life!
