I had to find something to do with the old seats. The other on would look nice on my mower.

Cool, did you upgrade to the bolstered ones in the boat?

I bet you could put the office chair up on EBAY and get more than what they were going to charge you in the first place for the seats..."ITS THE AMERICAN DREAM"

Dug deep to find this thread....where did you get the bolster seat from...having severe trouble finding one up here.

You could try Great Lakes Skipper - check them out online. They provide a lot of the OEM seats to SeaRay and others, and they will have plenty of options without any names or logos on them. They may even have some SeaRay branded seats. I put some of their seats on my boat with the bolsters and LOVE them. They make docking and visibility at slow speeds better, and just allow you to sit up and streach your legs!

That looks like a good idea to use the old seat. It could be the gift for the Searay guy who has everything!:thumbsup:

Lets be honest they probably arent the most comfortable thing to sit on. BUT they are way cool so who needs comfort! Cool man!!!

I too would consider converting one into an office chair if they were comfortable.

I got rid of the seats on my 185 sport. They had no armrests and the seat reclined too far back and was unadjustable. I bought a Todd ladderback chair with armrests. Ahhh...much better. I wonder why SeaRay does not offer any helm chairs with armrests? I would love to find some with the armrests that fold down on the side but I have not seen any marine type chairs....just car seats that do this. Of course if Searay did it the cost would probably be $3000 per seat. :)

Looks like I can sell my uncomfortable chairs for about $250 to $300 each on Ebay. I priced the dealers equivalent chairs...he wants even more! Anyone want to purchase a pair?
