That sucks. Exactly what do you need to do to get her ready to splash? Is it engine issues or wax and clean up? If it's wax and clean up, NO EXCUSE!!!

I haven't had time to replace the exhaust manifolds. I can get the admiral to wax on wax off but her scope of ability stops at the engine room. LOL. After years as a field mechanic and thousands of dollars of tools in my garage, I just can't come to grips with hiring someone else to touch my girl.

I can't blame you!

Yeah man - YOU'RE IN! Welcome, and bring on the photos.

Well, the alcohol and peroxide mix did not work as nicely as I would have wanted, so we are on to you suggestion of Resolve. It sure was nice however, to know in the midst of a thunderstorm, that the foredeck was water tight and solid (no more soft spots).

Good luck with the stains. Seriously doubt anything will get those stains out other than a utility knife!

I think we were referring to our boats as "old guys." Besides, OLD is just a frame of mind.

Us boating pervs want to see photos!

Welcome. You will find quite a few of us certifiable classic searay owners here. I am a proud member! LOL Have fun and enjoy. Photos......we need photos!

I'm gonna start a new thread if all this ends up being guys talking about the big sedan bridge and how wide their boat is and diesel power, built in espresso machines and washer and dryer:lol:
Where are the REAL old school owners? The ones with interior so old and dry-rotted when you sit down the disenigrating fabric makes you look like pigpen. Boats so old, that not only do they not have replacment parts, they can't even remember who made them. I want to hear from the real "blue collar" owners!:smt038

Well, I'm not so blue collar, but my 300 Sportbridge still has the furry walls and headliner!

I'm in with my 1986 Sea Ray Sundancer 270, well if you guys don't mind that is... lol

Welcome to Giv-a-hoot and umpalot!
Ump, love to see pix of your 345DB. Over all the years I've been on this site and it's predecessor, I've seen maybe one or two of us out there, and even those precious few post and then disappear. I am the ONLY active one on the site. Please do stick around.
