Wow... that's really cool... can't wait till you get into it... awesome...

I didn't clean that engine at all...that is how I got it
wired it up tonite and cranked it over
set of plugs and some fuel and I feel very confident it will fire right up

best 100 bucks I have spent in a long time I believe

the hull was originally Bahama Blue....not my favorite
Kathy and I are discussing a metalic black or metallic dark red for the upper and leave the lower white..the lower is the original unpainted gelcoat and looks good
by "metallic" I am not talking bass boat like metallic ....very fine flake just to make the light play a little bit

I had actually considered a purple but wanted to stay with a "close to OE" color
this will be a "period resto" not totally perfect correct to the letter like I used to do classic cars but stock appearing with some modern upgrades

Awesome deal on the motor. Good find!

That's the way I like too! The engine looks right!

That motor will look really nice on the boat. I personally like the black and white color combo.

by the way I like your bubble gum machine in your garage:thumbsup:

How many do you want ...got about 14 of them (new in package) in a storage shed...a buddy "stored" them at my house for a couple of months (4 years ago)
PM me and I will hook you up on some

OMFG !!
THE EVINRUDE RUNS !!!!
Hooked up the electrical system and some fresh fuel (in the tank from my bass boat) and a new set of plugs and cranked it about 15 seconds and the old girl fired and RAN !!!!!
didn't have it in water so I only ran it about 45 seconds but it revved and idled !!
I am now totally stoked about this project !!
