Not everyone Mike. Saints, niners, broncos and vinatieri kicks a game winner as the clock winds down.

More Colts selections than I expected, particularly when the media is so pro Pats, some of which they deserve due to their track record. The Chargers are the puzzle to me, they finish third in their division, lose some very inexplicable games, but have more wins and a better percentage against winning teams than any other team. I think they are dangerous, but the media doesn't seem to give them much chance against the Broncos, a team they already beat in Denver.

Seems the Seahawks are winning the locals but not the football nation, this is from a local writer.

Comments: "Seahawks beloved here, but are growing into a hated team elsewhere"

That's going to happen when you're closer to the top and we have a couple of "personalities" that talk on the team. Sherman in particular. The unique thing about him in my opinion is that he speaks intelligently, but with confidence that rides on cocky. At least he backs it up, more often than not. It's not like he's annoying or obnoxious like a Terrell Owens was. + he's a good teammate. I can see why the rest of the league may have a bad taste in their mouths though.

One thing I was always pleased with being a Colts supporter, most folks liked the Colts, Manning and respected the coaching staff, through at the time they were winning more than almost anyone in the league. The national press coverage of the Seahawks is often about negative player or team issues. One other thing I have not seen mentioned anywhere is the lasting impressions the public (20-30 million of them) got of the Seahawks in the Green Bay touchdown fiasco. It was a game decided by poorly trained officials as time expired, Pete Carroll danced and celebrated like he won a Super Bowl not a botched game, and not like the leader a head NFL coach should be.

Also, thanks for discussing and not biting my head off,

MM

Congrats to the Seachickens. Hope to see you next week!

Luck reminds me of a young Peyton Manning
