Swim Platform Lights

A big A$$ drill bit :)

Actually, my shop ran the wire through the transom above the waterline. They caulked it all in. It was a bit tricky as the swim platform creates a "gap" between the transom and platform bulkhead, but they found the right spot to run it through so that water would not collect there. I was a bit nervous about putting holes in a perfectly good boat but I trust the shop since its owned by one of my best friends.

Once the cable was run, I did all the light mounting and ran the rest of the wire up to the helm.

Mine also is an integral platform so I would have to find a way to get through most likely below or at the water line.
Going to go sit on the boat and have a few beers this afternoon..........maybe think on the whole thing.
10 degrees outside........60 degrees in storage.........ahhh only 79 days till splash, but who's counting!

I just purchased lights for my swm platform and wondered if anyone could help me with wiring them into the acc1 or acc2 switch?

I installed the Hurley Trim Tab lights, it was easy and Todd Hurley helped me with the wiring, by phone. I didn't run it through the Aft Acc switch though, seems the switch is rated for 30 amps but the EIM is only loaded with 15-20 amp breakers....it popped several times so I ran a separate switch into the battery switch locker and installed a 35 amp toggle switch....Much better, now to install an LED on he outside of the box door to let me know I left them on......Alshiemers is horrible on the water.

I used 4 of the Abyss lights an ran it to one of the Extra switches on the dash. Just need a 1/4 hole to run the wire through the hull.
