Steering wheel controls - newer Clarion Radio

My older CMD4 Clarion Radio finally died, so I upgraded to the newer M508 Clarion radio and new MW1 Clarion wired remote control. I would like to be able to splice in the wires so the new radio can use the steering wheel controls. Does anyone know which wires need connected to use the existing Sea Ray Steering Wheel controls with a newer Clarion Radio since the harness has changed? thanks again, I assume this has been done before but can't find exactly what adapter harness to buy, or wires to splice, thanks.

Have you tried Crutchfield to see if they have an adapter?

I swapped my Clarion CMD4 which has a 6-pin DIN remote interface with Clarion M508 which has an 8-pin DIN interface. I used a CCUMRA1 adapter to connect the M508 to my old remotes. My old remotes function (other than LCD which was known), but my steering wheel controls are non-functional. They’re completely inert. I have a 2007 Sea Ray Sundeck 220.

Has anybody figured out how to make the steering wheel controls work with an 8-pin DIN head unit?
