When I took my boat for a ride 2 days ago, the starboard engine ran fine, but only up to approx. 2400 rpm. I like to cruise at 3200 rpm and have not had any acceleration issue before. This last time; however, the engine did not respond to more throttle. it got sluggish as I gave it more throttle. They are gas engines, 7.4L crusaders. Any thoughts?

Yeah, there are a few things that pop into my head in addition. Fuel quality (if pulling from separate tanks... try switching), fuel filters, tune-up items, even something wrapped around the prop/shaft. The props are easy enough to check by taking a deep breath. Fuel quality can be checked by dumping fuel filter into a clear, glass jar (spaghetti jar works well). Start with the easy things.
