Standing water in floor storage

I am in the process of buying a 1991 350 Sundancer. Engines were checked today, survey and sea trial monday. Boat is and has been out of the water for awhile. In the cabin there is a storage compartment in the floor with a clear drain box with a bilge pump in it. I think this is the 'grey water' box. I have been told that pump needs to be replaced. The problem is there is standing water in the storage well. When I first noticed it w e hadn't had rain for awhile. I checked it again after it rained and the level had not changed. Any Suggestions?

If that pump has failed, the shower sump box may be overflowing, there may also be leaking or disconnected fitting on that box. Does the ac condensation drain to that box?

Ive had 3 boats with this system...and none of them work very well.

Is the water clear or is it soapy coloured shower water?

The boat is out of the water and except for cleaning with the power off no one has been in it. The water is clear and the AC does drain into the box. I will be doing a survey with sea trial on Monday.
