Springtime shine 2024

After holding up very well last year I stuck with Starke again. This is a single pass with ignition and then the hyper hold pro sealant.

Last year I used their hybrid sealant but could only find hyper hold this year. It is a tough product to use with hand application, so I will try my DA above the rub rail instead. Thankfully it does come off easily once it hazes off

I'm about use HyperHold for the first time. How exactly was it difficult to use by hand?
I've already done a pass of Level R and a pass of Elevate and mentally I'm done so I don't want the sealant pass to be difficult.

Ironically, I just finished watching that video. I tend to like applying by hand better, but I can use my DA if necessary.
I would think it would be significantly more difficult to apply an even coat by hand vs a DA.

The Starke Ceramic held up so well last year, this winter I gave her a hand wash with a mixture of Starke Venom to remove all of the contaminants and water spots, then applied a spray on coat of their Replenish. Pretty happy to not have to buff anything this winter.

Use the polisher for sure. Not only is it difficult to get even but the material does not spread easily because it’s thick. Your arm in hands will thank you

Quick pass of the Glide Coat ceramic coat, Single layer of New Petit Hydrocoat bottom paint, Cummins 1000 hr service just completed. Splash is Friday and likely run her down the coast Saturday hoping for >3 footers. Let the good times roll.

I went from that blue hull to titanium thinking it would be easier to care for. Boy was I wrong....Nothing my checkbook can't handle, much to my wife's dismay.
That is my main concern…. New boat is beige or what ever it’s called…. I’ve seen more beige oxidized to hell compared to blue hulls
