We were anchored out in the Delaware Bay in Cape May swimming when about six horses and their riders showed up. They gave the kids rides, let them jump into the water from their backs and pulled them through the water with their tails!
Now, I've owned horses and these guys were so laid back and bomb proof!!
They're there every weekend.
That's my friends cousin, Lexi, on the horse
They swam right up to the boat so we could pet them! That's us in the second pic

Very cool. I'm not a "horse person" and haven't been on one in many years, but I'd love to do something like that.

That's very cool, now my girls are really going to push to bring the boat up! Post the video.

The videos are shaky because I used my phone and I was sitting on the bow
This is Gavin jumping off of the horses hiney :)

Very cool. Something odd looking about a young girl wearing a life jacket to ride a horse though!

My daughter and her riding instructor will occasionally take their horses down a trail near us to the water and do the same thing. The horses don't mind a bit. Probably feels good to them too, to cool off and keep the flies away.

You know, I thought the same thing about the life jacket. She was afraid to take it off because the tide was coming in and she wanted to get back to the boat safely.... smart girl :)

The horses were great. Very calm and they seemed to enjoy the break of the heat. Some had to be coaxed, one wouldn't go in, and the others were more than happy to oblige. ...see the smile on the horses face :)

Cool.. I wouldn't want to be there when the horses take their 5gal p*ss. :wow:

The strangest thing is this is New Jersey... I would think if would make more sense if it was SC, NC, for Alabama....

Imagine seeing the horse and rider out a ways after a couple "pops".......I'd throw anchor and call it a day..LOL
