Can you believe some one stoops that low? My boat is never outside unless its in the harbor at Higgins lake so they had to swim over in 10 feet of water to take it.. I would have gave them $20 if they were really that hard up...:huh:

I wonder if you are not the only one. There is a lot of metal stealing going on. Copper, bronze, brass are all high on the list for scrap metal. I don't know about zinc, but we all should watch those heavy chunks of brass and bronze for sure.

At first this is what I thought, but the plastic plug was still on the top of the bolt hole but the bolt and anode was gone. So they took the cap off, took the bolt out, anode off and put the cap back on. Weird..

I saw on the news that the zinc in a penny is worth more than the penny. I wonder if you can just hang a bag of pennies off the back like a zinc fish.

I just came back from KC. Crooks are using battery powered sawzalls to cut catalytic converters out from under SUVs. Good Grief.

i'm from brooklyn. nothing surprises me. i've seen a 1979 ford LTD sedan stolen out of a garage (this was back in 1987). we had a tenant that stole my two baseball gloves and a vhf radio and a weightlifting belt out of my basement before he moved out.
