Thank you this was going to be my layout, I was going to grab power from my accessory Switch on my dash that powers my GPS unit only, as I only really need the engine data while running my MFD. Throw the book at me if I made a layout error

That'll work - I assume "cap" is the terminating ressistors?
One bit of advice is plan the future of the NMEA 2000 system as it will no doubt expand.

I would think in 2006 MPI would be a pretty new network not new but you know what I mean

I will check my ECM is there any certain place I will find the number or just check that and call mercruiser and find out what it is thanks

The 2024's will be out in a few months. So 18 years new. OK

Fairly newer, sorry was just asking a question. Don't take it so hard
