Yep, hauled the boat yesterday for the season, noticed my starboard exhaust was missing! It appears its just plain fell off. Bet its not cheap to replace!

You are right - not cheap. I had to replace one on a 1994 370da sundancer 2 yrs ago and as I recall it was about 500 for the part plus cost to haul boat and install. Not cheap at all.

I've seen them at Flounder Pounder... How do you think it fell off? Did you hit something?

No, it was hauled last in July when I had the props done. It was there then. We hauled it for the season yesterday and it was gone. No sign of any impact anywhere. I think I would have noticed that? lol. It looked like the sealant let go and there were only two screws holding it.

Mine was fastened with 4 thru bolts. I bet you lost it when it was launched the last time. Does not take much to knock it loose. It could be sitting in the water right at the lift.

We checked the ramp yesterday. if it was lost in July there is no hope in finding it. Any potential damage from running without it? I didn't notice any difference.

I'd just check around the "hole" for any water intrusion. I don't think you have a cored bottom but let it all dry out and give it a close look when it comes time to replace it. That's weird!

The part number you are looking for is 1215573.....I contacted Flounder Pounder Marine this morning and Ken has one listed on his site.

The cast number which is embedded on the exhaust horn is 18030 and was made for us by Algonac Cast....you would have to order this item through a dealer as Algonac may not do retail sales.

Flounder Pounder is willing to offer you the CSR discount and will sell this item for a negotiated price... if you do call be sure and mention that I advised you to call so they will remember the deal.

Hope it helps and glad Ken and Flounder Pounder are here for us.

Thanks so much Rusty! I will definitely give them a call. Much appreciated.

Ordered! Good peeps down there. Also found a friend in FLA that will receive it for me, shipping is 17 bucks rather than 300! lol

If I can help more, just ask ! FP Marine is located about five miles from me

Rusty

Thanks Rusty. Its good timing, I'm heading down to Ft. Myers Beach next month to deliver a car for a friend, I had the part delivered there and I'll toss it in my bag for the flight home.
