My BMW 335i is no comfort creature. I drive it around the city and for short trips, but rarely on the highway, too tight, stiff and uncomfortable.
Can I assume the Explorer is your wife's car?So all this talk about cars is bad..... Looking at some used Zl1 Camaros..... Wife thinks I'm nuts. I don't like walking out in the garage and seeing an Explorer and F150..... Boring.... I'm thinking the Explorer needs to get booted. We'll see what happens over the next week or two.
I swapped a 2011 GT500 for the Explorer King Ranch last year thinking she'd use it for her errands and running her mom to doctor appts. She's always taking the F150 and after a year there's only 2,800 miles on the dumb thing. Based on the use, I'd rather have a toy.Can I assume the Explorer is your wife's car?
If so, you're a much braver man than I.
Take a look at an MHD tune, that's what I did to my 335i, plus I did an xHP transmission tune. I didn't go too aggressive with either and I love them, especially the xHP tune.My 535i and 440i (hardtop conv.) are very comfortable, I even keep them in sport mode around town. I am going to get the race chip for the 440i when the warranty runs out, that will put it at 400hp, can't wait for that.
Love the older Supras. I had a 3rd generation late 80s silver one nicknamed The Silver Bullet. My brother has a newer "baby Supra" now, not sure what it's called, it's not a Supra but one step below, I am not a fan.View attachment 132959 View attachment 132960 View attachment 132961 View attachment 132962 My Son's 1994 Toyota Supra. This is his baby. He is a gearhead with a lift in his outbuilding. He stripped it to the frame for paint, repaired / upgraded transmission, engine, you name it...... even built the wiring harness himself!
The ZL1 L1E and SS L1E is an incredible track cars but on the road another thing; uncomfortable, rough, and hard to see out of. Regardless, I think they will increase in value as the near-term years pass. The Z06 Corvette would be my choice as I think it will be a rather short run due to the move to EV. But, good or bad, I'm a Mopar fella. So all this talk about cars is bad..... Looking at some used Zl1 Camaros..... Wife thinks I'm nuts. The 80's twin turbo Supra was an absolute beast. Wish Toyota would reincarnate that one. EVs suck.Love the older Supras. I had a 3rd generation late 80s silver one nicknamed The Silver Bullet. Ha ha....funny guy. While you are shopping pick out a nice comfortable couch to sleep on.
Everyone should own at least one convertible in their lifetime.Found a new cancelation ZL1 available. Decided to snag it. Still in production, so it'll be a while. Similar to this one. View attachment 133490
Absolutely, not the first one for me. I've owned 8 of them over the years. Even an MGB.... that was a big mistake... This convertible top looks like it operates identically to my old C7 Corvette.Everyone should own at least one convertible in their lifetime.
