So let's hear about and see your cars.

I put 1,000's of miles on bikes finally pulled the plug about about 10 years ago. Never crashed on the streets. Broken collar bone and dislocated shoulder from riding over my head on the trails. I had some really fast bikes (ZX14 Kawasaki) to FZ1 to cruisers (Valkyrie and Road Glide). Finally got tired of avoiding other drivers and losing two friends in crashes (one an accomplished racer at Daytona) plus a neighbor losing a leg at the hip, that was it. Not trying to be "Debbie Downer", I just found myself being Joe Racer and exceeding my abilities at times and decided not to push my luck.

I hear ya. I myself just can't off a big wreck in the dirt 2 years ago. Care flight, 12 days in hospital and a 12 hour surgery.

But I just can't stop myself. I'm like you were and push the envelope more than I should. That said, I'm definitely a little wiser and somewhat more careful than I was 20 years ago, so that's a start.

Yeah, I was never going to be accused of riding a bike with big wide chicken strips on the tires. I tried to find out how fast the ZX14 was.... 178mph (Garmin gps) was my limit not the bike's.

Been there, done that.... grew up riding dirt bikes as a teen and motorcycles as soon as I was licensed. My last bike was a Kawi GPZ1100 that I had up to 140mph. I spent my 21st birthday and the following six weeks in the hospital, after I t-boned a car that ran a stop sign. I fractured two vertebrae, a hip socket, pelvis (titanium rod) and had a compound fracture in my leg (titanium plate), among other internal bruises and external wounds. When I got back to 90%, two years and five surgeries later, I decided to give up bikes and took up sky diving, since it offered a much better rush and was a lot safer!

I've tried to spend a $110K to the GMC dealer for a Yukon Denali Ultimate, and for two years its been "the Ultimate is on allocation, I can't get you one". Then it was "Super Cruise is on allocation, I can't get you one". He finally called me and said "I've got an Ultimate coming with super cruise for you". I said "what color is it"? he said "black". I said "I'm not an Uber driver no thanks, I asked for sandstone beige". Finally took @missnmountains advice and bought an Escalade!

Went to a cruise last week and saw matching Mustangs. Talked to the guy and they were his and his wifes. His is a 2021 Shelby GT500 with track pack and hers is a 2022 GT500 with Track Pack. Both have carbon fiber wheels and a few other CF parts. Saw them again today and he said the wheels were $7000 each. Yep, he was right. $30,000 for a set...ugh. Looked up a couple tonight and they are between $120,000 and $130,000 each used. 760hp each.
To top if off he also has a 2010 Shelby that has a bunch of aftermarket stuff done to it. He didn't have that one today so I asked why. He didn't have anyone to drive it to the cruise. I politely volunteered to drive it to cruises for him from now on...lol. He said that one is 'only' 650hp

$7000 for a CF rim, that’s gonna crack in a big pot hole? I’m noping out of that. I was pissed enough that the LIE ate 2 of my stock alloy rims. Those were under $200 each and drivable for a while thanks to some mechanic black magic.

But then I’m driving an 11 year old Maxima.

Just traded a 2011 GT500 a little over a year ago. I think the last latest GT500's are going to keep appreciating just like the 2019 ZR1's that are selling for $200,000+ right now.

My new to me 06 911 997.1 S4 Cab arrives this evening from the Tampa area. Black, tan with 6sp manual. Maybe I'll keep this one for a few weeks. Never know.
You can't reply until you reply to the last question; you bought the last one for a few days only to sell? You might have a problem...

:)

Yes, I had the 996 listed for sale while it was in transit to me. Didn't even register it, put it in the garage and sold it so I could get this 997 that i really liked.

I'm making progress, this one is not listed for sale yet!
