So let's hear about and see your cars.

2023 will be the last year for the Mopar Hemi and the termination of the Challenger / Charger.
They have committed to alternative energy; the soulless bastards.
But they will offer a convertible in the Challenger; all special order; not since the 70's.
I've got a 19 Hellcat Redeye and thinking I might need to add a Hellcat Redeye convertible to the collection....

Well, I think for the first time in decades I'm all in with the C8. The new Z06 is going to be a BEAST! Hopefully doesn't have the heat issues of the C7 Z06.

Had a mid-engine Acura NSX for several years a long time ago. Auto-X'ed that car and loved its balance. Kinda wish I kept it now looking at the prices they're bringing.
The guys that overheated the Z06's were tracking them.....hard. Street driving was never an issue.

Exactly. That's what was happening with my friend that I track with. He'd go into limp mode 3 laps into COTA. A Z06, specifically, should be engineered to withstand track use.

Mopar or no car

Many
Old
Parts
Arranged
Ridiculously
Watcha got Mitch? Let's go have some fun and see just how ridiculous the parts are arranged.
We can do the 1/4 mile also if you desire. I did do in the sub 11's last year on the POS Pirelli's.
For fun - beer for the ridiculous.

I am stressing out big time my wife is about to kill me, I have never done anything like this before.

Good luck with your auction!

BAT can be a nail-biter!

I helped my old man buy and sell several cars on BAT. Sometimes the price can more than double in the last couple hours, so hang in there. And hopefully you agreed on a decent reserve.

In almost every case, the know-it-all trolls show up and scare away some would-be buyers

I'm a BAT junkie. Follow it everyday. Bought and sold one motorcycle on it. You're 100% correct about the gas bags who comment on everything and will either never bid or put down stupid bids early on with zero chance of buying anything. The real buyers show up in the last 10 minutes.

I'm still deciding between a few cars, and none of them are in the same league as the ones mentioned here.

Cheap and easy would be a 986 Boxster S for under 13k. Gotta make sure the IMS has been replaced or do I?

A beautiful 54k mile 1994 300zx twin turbo but the guy wants 30k for it.

A nice 1990 300zx twin turbo with 76k miles, a few mods and lots of recent work done like the timing belt etc. Think I can get this one for 20k.

The issue for me is I would absolutely drive the 986 often and not even think about it at all. Not sure if I would have the same care free attitude with either of the Z cars.

Admittedly all three of these are a stupid idea but I can't help it. Seems like I have to hyperfocus on something or I go crazy. Oh, there is also no room in the garage because the stupid SeaDoo Spark has been in there since February because the hydraulic swim platform doesn't work!!! However, I do have it working now. Just waiting for a new part from PDI (Frank) and I'll be good to go. Still have to run and fish the wires and switches. Assembled everything in the bilge just to make sure it works.

'69 Superebee, 383, 727 A/T. The one time I was able to run it on the strip, it ran 14.00 @98 mph on pump gas without doing anything special to it. That was with 90,000 miles on the clock. Here with my first car, a '66 Mustang 200cid six-banger. Yep, both long gone.

By fate, fortune, or mishap filled a matchbox shed over the years ..Model T , 50-80’s Fords, Chevy’s, Pontiacs along with some newer exotic’s. Wife has never given me any grief and always been happy to help jockey one out for a sunny day cruise. If anyone on the forum knows someone that is interested in acquiring a tlc project and having some fun with friends/family I can set them up with County Music Singer Charley Prides Limousine …

I hear you, we are alike.

I like to tune/mod things myself so I can't by one already modified, unless is was done by an "adult" versus a kid who just ragged the car. Hard to figure that out sometimes though.

I think I paid $10k for the 2008 335i, who knows how much I have into it (too much) and who knows what it's worth. I have kept every part I removed and upgraded in case I do sell and the buyer wants to return it to stock (on their own of course).
