So far nobody has topped me. Just saying

I remember seeing a colour Tv in England when I was 11 it had just come out there, and we were still on Black and White in Australia
I remember when I bought my first car, cassette players had just come on the market
I remember signing to a record club and being sent LP's every month
I remember FM radio starting in Australia
I remember my first mobile phone, being attached to the car.
I remember phone boxes on the side of the road, with A & B Buttons
I remember the first Macdonalds opening in Australia
I remember drinking coffee from a thermos, instead of looking for a coffee shop
I remember when taking an airflight meant dressing up!

I remember when all we had at home was a radio because TV had yet to become available to the mass market,
I remember my first car had a tube based radio,

Blah blah blah. Yeah I'm old 63 next month.

56, It would have been interesting to have compared the same poll from 10 years ago to today. I've noticed not as many 20 to 40 year olds are boating, as when I was in that age group.

I'll keep boating as long as they keep making Advil and beer.

Congratulations Henry. I hereby nominate you "KING of the geezer club". I'll step down. There are quite a few elderly folks at our yacht club. Some of them are even too elderly to actually go out, but they will just sit there on there boats. It's really sad when they reach the age that they can't make it down there any more and have to sell. There's been a few lately. I think there should be a "variety club" type boating event for the elderly, kinda like we do for the blind fishing derby and the disabled kids' treasure hunts.

34.....wow when you put it on the screen it feels old
