I flush my water system 3 times with bleach each year.

:smt043 . I did the same thing when I did mine for the first time. :grin:Based on what I had to do to get the smell and taste out; a gallon of bleach would thoroughly disinfect about a 300 gallon system and countless ice cubes. :smt013

This was posted elsewhere and I used it to clean mine after 2 years(That I know of and probably more) sitting with water sloshing in the bottom of the tank.

In Peggy's first line of instruction she mentions using 3/4dl to 10 liters of holding tank capacity. Can someone post the US coversion of oz and gallons? It was easy to convert the liters to gallons but I'm not finding the dl conversion.
