How big is the boat? That is a great deal!
I was in a boatyard in previous years before I bought a spot on a canal. It was a no frills, tie the boat up and leave type of place. It cost me $2150 for the seasn to keep my 30' Sundancer there. That was a pretty good deal for around here. Most other places that were comparable were $2500 - $3000 for the season. A marina with any kind of amenities was even more.

How big is the boat?
Its 30ft and my slip is 40ft :smt001, We have a club house & all the other goodies you could think of . :smt038.
Its a small family owned marina 122 slips

$3,400 on lake michigan in michigan for a 30 foot slip. amenities include saltwater swimming pool, bathhouse, floating docks, electric, water. Its a very nice place, but still very expensive. I could save $1,200 if I docked in Michigan City, but no swimming pool and not as nice an area as New Buffalo.

$700/month no frills.... except the remote garage door opener !

woo hoo!!! Just signed my contract for $6500 for the season with barely any frills!!!!! Can't wait(all said with tongue in cheek, but that is the price!)

$3400 + $150 for electric - 10% if payed up front--I paid up front. Two Marina's (Small + Big) I am in the small but have acces to the Big which has a club house, gym, heated pool and more.

Can drop her in April 1. Take out Nov. 15.

Trying to get into a township slip--Ten year waiting list but half the price.

$650 for a slip for a 30' boat at Northshore Marina. Includes power, water and a very nice swimming pool. Has not changed much over the past few years.

Our price stayed the same too. $4750 up here for 30' and no frills...but the electric and water is included. Is a screened in gazebo with bathrooms a frill?

$2550...elec., water & tv (antenna feed 13 channels)....showers, free pumpouts, restaurant, & marina store.

Compared to you guys, I'm a small boat guy.

23' (25' LOA) and my slip (w/ electric) runs $2100 from April to October on Candlewood Lake. Beleive it or not, that's the cheap side and NO frills.

With a deposit by 10/1/09 we got 2009 rates - mailed final payment today. Our 40' went up about $100 for 2010

Wow !! some of you guys are taking it up the pooper BAD. :wow:.

$2600 for 10ft wide slip w/ finger dock. Includes Winter spot. There is 24hr security ( even though some one stole my rubermaid box :( Plus a Pool with parking at you slip with a space for table - chairs - dock box. includes water & Electric. AYC Lindenhurst. LI Great south bay.

Hey...What, you too good for the 'hood? Personally I enjoy the late night fights in the Park, and dodging bullets, it adds a special flare to the night's activities.

Seriously though, we pay $3,150 for a 40 foot slip at WP. I could spend more at B&E and have access to a small pool, but the river water.....yuck. (Also the main reason I don't slip at New Buffalo, aside from the expense, and if we stayed there, where would we go for a dinner cruise?)

If it were up to me, I'd be one of your neighbors, but the wife wants NB - I'm working on here cause $3,400 is too much. I already told here if (when ) we buy a bigger boat, we are going to WP.

Is that per month?? Or perhaps for a jet ski? If not, how? Here is the published slip fees for North Shore in Grand Haven:
http://www.northshoremarina.com/Slips/

Northshore Marina owns Barretts in Spring Lake. The rate is actually $1695 for the 30 foot dock at the SL location. Both are NSM. Has a nice pool that was built maybe 4 years ago. I was looking at the wrong rate sheet. Chris is in the process of upgrading all the docks with many new ones going in this year. Still a great deal compared to most rates I've seen.

$3200 per year. Pay up front and get 13 months. Covered 40' with finger pier on each side. 2 x 30 Amp connectors and water at each slip. Electric is extra and water is free.

Just a bare bones Marina with Marine grade non ethanol fuel and pump out at the fuel dock.

12 miles from home.
