I have a duplicate post in the "Official 390 EC" section. I only got one reply, so I thought that I would try re-posting it in here. We removed our sliding cockpit door today and found some broken rollers. I seem to recall from a previous post that these parts were available at Home Hardware of all places. Does anyone have their part numbers. There are also 2 bearings that seem to be ok, but there is no time like the present to replace them while it is all apart. I also recall somebody mentioning some kind of tape in the top track, but there was none on mine. What would that be for anyways?

I replaced mine, but I can't help you with part numbers. I went down there and basically looked at them and matched them up, but I'm positive somewhere on this forum there were part numbers.

how hard is it to remove the door? it looks like you just have to remove the top layer of teak and that will expose the hardware to remove the door frame and slide door out? I think I have a broke wheel I have to lift door when sliding it.

OK guys, I know this is a very old thread but I was hoping to get a little input. I have a 98' 250DA with the sliding cockpit door. the upper poly glide has come free from the door. I have noticed that my door has a single piece glide that runs the width of the door and I have noticed that the few pictures that I have run across show 2 or 3 separate pieces (see attachment). Is this to help improve durability? Also I'm thinking of using thread inserts in the door rather than just filling the existing holes and re-drilling any thoughts?
