Beautiful water. I did a little boating years ago in Munising Bay with a small trailer boat. It's certainly a retirement bucket list item to lock through at the Soo, visit Grand Marais, Munising, Marquette, Houghton, Copper Harbor and maybe Isle Royale. A highlight would be a trip out to Stannard Rock to jig for some of those trophy lake trout.

Thanks, I definitely appreciate what's out the back door. We get some great lake trout jigging off a reef about 40 miles Northeast of Munising Bay. It's another hot spot just past the shipping lanes and deepest part of the lake. A nice 46 pounder was just pulled in from there the other day.
