I plan on re upholstering my entire boat which is a 1984 270DA. The info out there is a little baffling to this guy who knows nada about it. Is there a site anyone can lead me to for Marine Vinyl? Maybe where they sell the material for the newer searays online somewhere?

Check out the Sunbrella web-site. They have interior & exterior materials in addition to their traditional camper top materials.

There is a co in jacksonville fl that buy's up old searay stuff he has vinyl and headliner materials oem i will get you his name i just purchased a roll of headlier material for 48.00 also another is flounderpounder.net they are in daytona fl..........bry-tech dist haines st jacksonville fl call them they also have items on ebay

I don't know if they're used exclusively, or not, but Morbern is/was a supplier of OEM vinyl for Sea Ray.

Alot of the OEM's use a vinyl from G&T

Go to www.sailrite.com for marine vinyl and Sunbrella fabrics that are current and up to date. They carry the piping, welting, binding, thread and webbing to make jsut about anything you want to do. Go to Cushionsexpress.com for marine foam options.

If you are real lucky, contact Sea Ray Factory Service Department and ask if they have the shop drawings for the upholstery for that model and year; then any reputable uphostery shop can make the seating, fabrics and design same as Factory.

I went to a local guy who sells marine grade vinyl. It was 8.99 a yard. If you can not find it around that price, email me and I will give you his info.

Call your local fabric stores and ask if they have Marine Grade Vinyl, that is how I found mine. If they don't have it they can probably order it for you.
