Thank you all so much for the ideas to try, in the boat parts list it shows an AC main breaker panel back in the engine room behind the Glendining CBM .... but it is not there, then on the AC diagram it shows a breaker panel in the accesory room that holds the air compressors...weird 2 conflicting locations in the paperwork for the same boat..... then i figured out the parts list book i was looking at is for a 98 540da .... so its supposed to be in the accesory room but is not there.... have traced the wiring back to the main breaker panel, so going to open that up and find out what is going on!
Paul I am not connected through the Atlas system here just regular shore power as I dont need it here in the States, i have two seperate sets of wirings, i can either run power through the atlas or just the original shorepower system. I am getting power to the boat because all the other 240 v systems are running fine, its just this AC pump which is not getting enough voltage! There is no breaker for the AC on the bridge.

So the marina you are at is supplying 240 VAC? I find that unusual for the USA as I would expect the shore power to be 110 VAC.
Anyway the only thing that can cause a voltage drop is a high resistance joint.
Does the Aircon run when you use the generator to power it?
