Really Frank?.......So what is Maggies story?
So that was a long day. We left Nashville this morning at 6:30. 3 flights later we're home in West Kelowna to a beautiful 26 degree day. Looks like this weekend will be great for some cruising.
What an experience for us! So many new friends...Jason, Jim, Mike, Shaun,mCarter, Rusty...Casey...ya I can't pull them all outta my head right now. We loved Tennessee...what a beautiful state and great people. Both Frank and Carter had some advise on places to visit in Nashville...they were great.
Gang thanks for the fun, boat talk and new friendships we're already talking about next year.
Oh ya, Almost forgot...Rusty is great. Should've not worried about anything. Saying that means Frank is right too! Cme next year to,see them both in person!
As you said another year of mediocrity (the vols not the searay homecoming). I did not get to meet as many of you as I had hoped. I did enjoy the time at the plant and the boat tours. I had some children events that interfered with attending the Calhoun's event Thursday. I did make it by Thursday but by the time I got there most were gone.
The Saturday event was excellent. I did get to meet several people and put some faces to some names. My favorite boat of all the ones I climbed over and rode in was the new 350DA. I liked the change in the interior especially the aft bunk area. Also the engine room had a lot of room to get down between the twins. I looked at a lot of boats that were close in LOA to my old 270 and none of them seemed to justify a change in boat (unless I went with the 510 ha ha). The 350 though was a whole different animal. We talked about this boat the most on game day.
Several people came down to the Vol Navy Saturday to hang out with us - Bill, Ron, Angie; we had a great time and look forward to this again next year (as long as we do not overdo it on West Virginia moonshine again). Bill may have some Vol Navy pics to post.
If anyone ever plans on a vol game give me a PM and come to the Vol Navy. I certainly do not have the biggest boat in the Navy but we have a good time.
Glad you made it home my friend
see you and Janet next year
Where do you think I got the Wilson idea...................?
Favorite Boat: 470DA
Favorite almost affordable boat: 350DA
Most fun ride: 280 Sundeck with 8.1 (it was a rocket ship)
Biggest learning experience: Sea Ray factory tour
2nd biggest learning experience: that MonacoMike = Energizer Bunny
Enjoyed everyone and greatly appreciated Sea Ray's genuine interest in us.
I'll second that.... Heck you get tired just watching him tell joke
HEY! I resemble that remark...
I had a great time, as always at the Sea Ray gatherings. I am glad to be a part of this too!
Here is my minor contribution, aside from the pics I helped my dad take (My dad is Rick - Mistercomputerman)

A quick clip of me walking around the 2013 - 510 Sundancer. I will bring my HD camera next time for better footage to share with you guys (and record at a little bit slower pace with the intention of sharing too)! :smt038:smt038
Thanks for the pics, Grant! And it was nice talking with you!!
It was great meeting everyone. I know I missed a few CSR members but there's always next year....
For those that attended, check your email for a follow up survey from Sea Ray.
I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that photbucket.com is a piece of crap for managing a lot of photos. They don't want to load and then the site times out. I am probably going to have to start posting photos the old fashioned way, directly embedded into the site. I'll work on it some more tonight so that I can get some of these things up for folks to see.
the photobucket IMG links work great
but the post of entire albums is Realllllllly slow
Let's try some direct links from the registration booth:
Now, photos from the Thursday night party at Calhoun's on the River.
Great pics Mr photoninja
We had a great time at both events in Knoxville. Met some great people, from closing down Calhouns on Thursday with Loneranger to ending the Friday event in style with the most exciting ride I have ever had on a 37' boat and everything in between. It was great meeting some of you, wish I could have met more (looks like the Hampton Inn was the place to be) and looking forward to next year. Thanks to Rusty, Frank and of course, Sea Ray. I can't think of any other large company I have ever dealt with that treats their customers like family.
Here is the 2013 lineup that we saw Thursday night at Calhoun's on the River, inlcuding the 370 Venture
