Arriving at the Plant on Friday morning:
We went on a plant tour of the Knoxville facility:
So, then it was time for the boat rides:
You will notice on the plant tour....we didn't look very happy.....Why you ask? Well....you would have thought we were in a Bayliner plant....:smt009
That's not what you were saying during the tour.....You kept talking bout how "Purdy those Bayliners were.....".
Our expressions were due to the fact we were all hanging on every word of our Tour Guide..., or maybe is was indigestion.... I can't remember.
Thank you for all of the pics Rick. You did an outstanding job of capturing the spirit of the event. We all felt like we were being stalked by a genuine "Paparazzi". You certainly made me feel impotent.... wait, I mean important....
Rick I have to agree, thanks for the memories.Sorry I didn't get to talk to you .
Don't thank me yet. I still have a couple hundred more to go. Trying to finish tonight before I go to bed.
So, after all that walking and riding, it was time to eat. The kind folks at Sea Ray held a pig-pickin' out in the parking lot.
So, some of the guys brought their classic boats for a contest.
The awards were given out to a couple of our guys.
Next, THE SURPRISE
We had some plaques made up with CSR burgees, the burgees were courtesy of Jim Maier our website owner, and presented them to Rob Parmentier, President Sea Ray Boat Group, Rob Noyes, Vice Presient of Marketing, Sea Ray Boat Group and our own Rusty Higgins, Yacht Delivery Captain, Extraordinaire, Sea Ray Boat Group. Needless to say, they were surprised and appreciative.
After lunch, it was group photo time. Hopefully, everyone heard the announcement and got in the photo:
And, finally a couple of photos I had left over:
And, thanks to the guys who started this deal:
Captain Rusty Higgins
Jim Maier, BOE Marine
Best Prices, Best Advise and widest selection on Marine Electronics and Outfitting.
And to the good folks at Sea Ray who built our boats:
Let's Go Boating!
Was anyone else disappointed that Jim Maier actually looks nothing like Captain Hiram Paulding?
That actually looks like Frank...
If the CSR FBI hadn't confiscated my pics I would prove it to you. Well next year you will have to come to see for yourself.
Actually this looks like Frank...

Not enough shots of guys in orange shirts holding mics and pictures and such. You could have taken more.
