Hi all. Just bought a SeaRay 360 (395 European) 2002 year, am new to SeaRay having owned a smaller Regal for the past 7 years. I have a European spec. boat which has two pin plug sockets for the European market. The plug socket in the galley is not working and before I start looking further I just wanted to investigate the socket to make sure no wires were loose or corroded. Has anybody out there a similar European spec and if so how were you able to remove the socket from the cabinetry. I can't see any screws holding it in place from the front and wondered if I had to remove something from behind or if there were any clips that just hold the socket in place within the cabinet.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Alan

Do the European models have Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt plugs? If so, see if it is tripped. There may be more than one on a circuit.

Hello David
Thanks for the reply. Been on the boat this weekend and the TV is not working either. (Both in the galley area so looks like a circuit problem) Seen your reply about GFCI plugs and had a look in the owners manual. There are two plugs in the stateroom locker so will check those when on the boat this weekend. Wife pushed a couple of life jackets into one of the lockers and may have turned the plug off. Fingers crossed its that.
Best regards

Hi David

Been to the boat this weekend. The GFCI socket had been accidently switched off when my wife pushed the life jackets into the locker. Turned it on and all running great. Thank you so much for the help that you gave in getting this resolved.
Best wishes
Alan
