Ok I have a 2002 Sea Ray 220 Sun Deck , A few times this Summer it doesn't crank right up , never failed to crank but drags a little . I ran all the Gas out & put a fresh 50 Gallons in & even added a Lil Sta-bil. ( Mercruiser Mechanic told me " NEVER put SeaFoam in ANYTHING I own ) It still does it ever so often so here's my question . Ok when you turn the key on you can hear the Fuel pump running for approx 5 seconds . I've always waited til it quit before starting , is this wrong , do you turn the key over & try to start immediately ? And am I correct in never knocking outta gear & pumping throttle ? You don't do this with fuel injection right ? Thanks for your insight
