Anyone here have any experience with Saturn Inflatable Dinghies? Curious to get some feedback. I saw a very sharp 14' Saturn in red (SD430) on my river with a 40 Horse! Looked beautiful and sure moved out too! They seem to be a quality build from my quick, but close inspection. Thoughts and comments welcome.

I am wondering the same thing I am looking for a new inflatable and they are lower priced but I wonder about the quality.

I meant to answer this the other day. I have a Saturn inflatable SD260 (that I use as a dinghy) which is 3 years old. I have a 2006 2hp Honda engine to push it around. I have had no problems with the inflatable or the engine up to this point.

I like the inflatable keel and air floor over wood or slats. Last season, I did not have to add air to the tubes or the floor. I did add air to the keel a couple of times which is not a big deal. I also bought a cover for it which keeps the pollution from a nearby airport off it.

In the winter time, I deflate the unit and store it. I am very pleased with the combination.

After owning several of these things.....they have a useful life. I have owned Zodiacs before and frankly can't tell at this point if the Saturn will have the same or shorter life span.

I too have a Saturn inflatable, 9.5ft with a 9.8hp 4 stroke. I have no complaints, it's my first inflatable so I can not compare it to others and the price was right.

Hey B-Fitting, I noticed the dinghy davits on your swim platform. What brand are they and how do you like them?

It's from Nautley, called DinghyRamp. It works well for me, my dinghy and motor weighs roughly 170 lbs, so I can pull it up myself. I heard others need two people or a pulley system. The newer Sea Rays have the higher swim platform. I would recommend it if you are looking for a davit system.

My swim platform is also part of the hull as yours. My door is in the center of the boat and swings out toward the dinghy. Did you install it yourself or have it done?

Great place for a quiet weekend. Still Pond has 2 parts, out front by the sand bar is the party side. Great for daytime anchorage. The back by the Coast Guard station is great overnight anchorage. Very quiet and usually calm pond. Huge sand bar to walk around on only about 1 ft deep at low tide. We are at still pond most of the summer, only a 35 minute cruise from our marina. Also, not far from Fairlee Creek, major hot spot with Tiki bar. Also, within a few minutes from Wharton Creek, also very quiet and calm anchorage. Enjoy the season. Hail us when in the area.

Sounds like a good time Hans. I will try to make it up there this season. Is it baby friendly? I have a 4 year old and a 7 month old.
