Sailing in the Caribbean

 ., Have fun & stay SAFE. :smt001

You should have stopped by my trailer at the boat show to say hi! We'll be down your way in January chartering a 40' lagoon for a week. Nothing better than sailing down there all hopped up on rum and carib.

You asked on your site about which style of boat you should get. Thats a tough one. If you are mostly going to be using it and want the best performance then i think a mono is good. If you want the best money maker then i think a cat is best.

Have you checked out some of the big charter companies? They are often wanting captains to take their big 50'+ cats on weekly trips.

Very cool or should I say "kewl" John! I have been way too busy lately to keep up with your story but will touch in more often. A charter business? I hope to someday cruise on your vessel!

Thanks Wayne and Ken....

Jim you are right......My buddy who lives on a searay boat was seasick the first two days out....The mono hull is fun to sail, but it can throw you around pretty good too.

The cats just have so much more room. And it seems to be what the majority want. When in Rome...
