Running Temp on a 2001 - with 4.3L Alpha One

i have a Sea Ray 185 with a 4.3L Mercury Alpha One ... at what temperature should i be running in roughly 80 degree water

140-160 ,depends on the thermostat , and if FWC or RWC

im at like 170-180 Running Temp. Is that bad ?

As far as what you'll actually see on the gauge... Usually the 170 mark to about a needle width past the 170 mark.

Nice boat but you need to change your sig. :smt001 My 2005 200 4.3 also runs at 170 or just a hair higher if I am pushing it a bit.

Not your sig, your specs on the top right of your post. You now have a 4.3, not a 3.0 V6.
