Boatless
Arrived at the boat today to take her up river for winter storage. As I approached the starboard side I noticed a 6-7 foot long black streak down the hull. I guess I have a dock neighbor who has no morals or integrity. If you hit another boat you should step up and take responsibility. Man that pisses me off! After inspecting the streaks it appears that it is down in the gelcoat. Its going to take some serious buffing. Did I say that I was pissed?

Stop bayliner bashing, although, I have a story. We were in the inter-coastal waterway a lot this past weekend. Coming and going, only 3 people gave us any trouble. 2 were bayliners owners, 1 was a trawler. The first Baylliner was schlogging along at 9 knots, and was pretty big. We came off plane to pass, but he would not back off a couple of knots to allow me to pass without wake. He was not on CH 16. We passed, just barely, at 9.2 knots or so. He gave visual signals of anger. What an ass. Now, back to not bashing bayliners.

Actually, to put a point on it, it's not really Bayliners that are being bashed, but the caliber of people who tend to own them. There is at least one person (bayliner owner) here on CSR that does not fit the typical mold though, for which I am grateful.
What a stupid comment.

Is the slip located in an area where someone may have temporarily used your neighbors side while your neighbors boat wasn't there? Just a thought.

I hate to say this but my neighbor is a Searay owner. The marina is full of open slips so I can pretty much rule out a transient boat. I will need a new neighbor next year, can't trust this one.

You can probably look at your neighbors rubrail and see if it matches a spot in your hull that is scratched. Specifically a rear corner would be a good place to start.
