Removal of the crapper in a 90 DA 220

Humm, Quint, are you talking of the mid-cabin bilge pump? My shower has a drain hose that goes straight from the shower overboard on the right side of the boat similar to where the sink drains on the left side of the boat. I also have the mid-cabin bilge under the flip up where you enter the aft berth.

Don't have the wiring diagram but do have the color codes for the wires.
Bilge pumps:
14 gauge brown/red = auto mode (if installed)
14 gauge brown = manual mode
16 gauge black = ground
16 gauge white = bilge high water alarm (I think this is only in the engine comparment)
Hope it helps

mmmm..... I believe the shower drain is below the water line, so I figured this was the shower sump to pump water up to starboard outlet. I have two drains on the right ( starboard ) side....one directly out from bathroom sink and the other from the shower sump....I think....but I've been wrong before.

Nope, you nailed it. Yes, it is the sink drain that exits overboard. I got a good look at it tonight. Looks like I also need a new drain hose from shower to sump. You just fixed my entire problem by the way. I just found out I have a bad hose.

I am now in the process of making mohogany cabin entry doors. Damn, all the crap I start. Will it all be worth it? No idea, I just found some nice looking wood for a great price and started cutting and sanding. I am going to finish the doors with automotive clearcoat, the two part epoxy stuff.

wow that sounds nice...post a pic of the finished doors.

Got the lid done today, except clear coat.

Did new sink hardware and some trim yesterday. Now I have to take a 10 day break and go back to work. Had such a head of steam up too.
Quint, I have never heard of flexiteak. I can't see after putting in carpet how you could put any trim around the floor. I am going to find something nice to put under the crapper door instead of that hideous carpeted piece of plywood too. Now to send the lady to the fabric store for the sides and cushions. Do all that when I get back.

What did you use to replace the carpet covered plywood? I have no idea what to use other than recovering the same piece of plywood with newer hideous carpet. We just removed our mauve capet and put down wood laminate.
