I wasn't aware she took away all funding for Pure Michigan....what is wrong with this woman?...it was proven that it was working...something you don't see often

A fairly big protest in Lansing going on now over Gretchen’s new shutdown rules
 
Anybody protesting in Lansing? I was amazed to hear that out of state people with a home in Michigan could go to their "vacation home". But Michiganders, with two homes in the state, had to stay at their "primary" residence. (Or something to that effect).

Look at my post before yours....
That’s my case I have a condo in Michigan and I can drive across two states to go there....

I have been driving around a lot... and I am not seeing any enforcement with the stay in place rules.
Now compare that to Canada where they have road blocks setup and stopping everyone ...fines are $600 if you are not going to a essential location.....they also have neighbors calling cops on neighbors when they see you having people over to your house
 
Unreal. While I wasn't able to attend the rally, I certainly hope it gains the attention of those in power.
 
It seems to be huge. If it doesn't get their attention it's because it's just the little people, the deplorables. Not important. Nothing to see there.
 
We headed out this morning to do a road trip. Not much, just about 2 hours up to the town my wife was born in. Drop off some flowers at her dad's grave, grab some fried chicken at our favorite restaurant, hit a local meat market that has GREAT pepperoni sticks and jerky, then head back home.

We got on the freeway and found the wind is blowing like hell so decided to put it off until tomorrow. One of the advantages of being retired.

Essential trip? Yeah, if you can count it as necessary for our mental health, I guess it is.

There was some weather out there. Stay safe but enjoy!
 
I’d like to be able to boat but to be honest she is doing the right thing. The public doesn’t even abide by the current refs. If they loosen them, it will only get worse. Death is real for sure .


She does have some big knockers though ;)

Tyranny is never right. Denial of constitutional rights is wrong, no matter how someone tries to package it as an "emergency".

Detroit is not being policed at all... clamping down harder and for longer to the rest of the state isn’t going to change that. Gretchen is not right here at all.... never mind our rights under the constitution she is an idiot to think it will change anything one bit... go after the cause of pandemic spread which is mostly Detroit and Wayne county

i agree this is a dangerous pandemic but I don’t need a nanny government violating my rights under the veil of protecting my health safety. They need to stop this crap now!
 
For example...why are automatic car washes closed in Michigan....where else can you pay for a service with zero interaction with another person?... yet like today.. I stopped at a gas station.. got gas went into the store and bought a lottery ticket a case of beer and a bottle of liquor. I interacted with 3 people to accomplish that.
