I previously posted questions about upgrading my RL70cr to a C Series. After reviewing and researching I'm finding out that Raymarine is getting their a$$ handed to them by Garmin. I was at Boater's World and they were told to send ALL Raymarine C Series products back to the warehouse and prepare for a brand new Raymarine lineup to compete with Garmin. West Marine told me they are not getting in anymore Raymarine C Series products due to Raymarines new product line. West Marine has over 200 C70 System Packs sitting in a warehouse they can't sell (maybe they will clearance them out...) Raymarine just discontinued the C70 this week.

Has anyone heard about this and what to expect?

I might wait to upgrade from my RL70cr.

I have a c70 and love it. easy to use very accurate and because it'd been around for a while very stable. I would buy on left over in a minute rather than buy the new model especially with the huge price difference.

Raymarine just has a couple of new smaller units coming out, it is to replace the A60/65. These are intended to compete in the smaller boat market that Garmin/Lowrance own right now.
