Ran her up on the rocks - what does insurance cover?

Engines and outdrives were removed. Port transom assembly removed also. Engine compartment and hull were grinded down and reglassed (new epoxy supposed to be stronger than the original?). The stringers were not damaged.

Engines will go back in with new manifolds, risers, hoses, etc.

Lower unit exteriors will be reconditioned. Mechanically they are fine. They will be guaranteed by the shop.

All else will be checked and replaced as needed...bellows, etc.

Water heater will be replaced while engines are out.

Glad things have been moving along for you. I was thinking of moving to the "North Shore" Where there are rocks but maybe we will stay on the "South Shore" for now where there is 99% sand for a couple of more seasons. JG

Sounds good. Is this what you originally expected or somewhat less?

Doug

I was happy that the damage was less than expected, and I'm grateful that I did not skimp on insurance coverage.

I'm glad to hear it all worked out for you. You must be sleeping better.
