has anyone removed an arch on a 2002 310 sundancer? Wondering if it is a two man job (how heavy is it ) ?

I didn't have to remove my arch on my 450. The stuff mounted on it was removed but the arch stayed up.

I've removed the arch on my 07 310, it's definitely a two man job, unless you use ropes and pulleys as I did.
I'm not sure how much difference there is in mine and the 02.
As others have said, it's not necessary if you remove the stuff from the top of the arch.
I did mine because I hinged it for less worries pulling down the road.

Quite a task! What hinges did you use? Can you share pictures?

Is your intent to remove the arch to transport the boat? I moved my 400DA from MI to NJ on a lowboy and didn't neet to remove the arch. Just had to remove the radar unit and anything else that protruded above the arch (FM antenna, GPS receiver, anchor light, etc.).

I have family that does transport. The transport company would be able to tell you the SAFE bridge clearance for your route. They should be asking you height /width / weight when quoting.

It is very doable to get a 310 on a trailer under the legal limit with the radar arch on. Mine is about 13'5" when level.

Smithline LLC did our 340 on their lowboy. South Alabama to North Atlanta. Folded down the whip antenna. Nothing else.
