I’ve always said, I don’t need or want GPS, radar, chart plotter, ice maker. What I want are torpedos. Offer me torpedo tubes I’d be a customer for life. My idea of the ultimate yacht..

I want a missile launcher for my car to blow up cars in the left lane refusing to move over doing 69 MPH. And trucks going .5 MPH faster than the truck they are trying to pass.

Found a print file for a cannon barrel on the webs. I think I can blow this up to about 17” long. Maybe longer if I break it into more pieces.

Here on Florida's west coast we are blessed with numerous safe overnight anchorages.

Spent many nights out in Pelican Bay/Cayo Costa - the exact spot where Hurricane IAN made landfall.

The party boaters typically hang out at the sandbar and leave before dark.

We anchor AWAY from all the noise and dinghy back and forth to "Dog $hit Beach" - yes we do clean up after ourselves, and most (not all) do the same.

We run the genny 24/7 for AC, ice and refrigeration.

The Webber Baby-Q is used most evenings

Sunsets are like snowflakes - and best enjoyed on the bow, take note of the stars.

In the morning theres the coffee sunrise

The party boats on the sandbar are a different breed.

We simply STAY AWAY from that area, and the boats anchored out are typically larger powerboats or sail

Generally speaking, folks in this neck of the woods, with that kind of boat are respectful.

Please, PLEASE don't tell anyone about this place.

BEST !

What material are you using to print it? Do you think it will stand up to firing a blank? I gave my son a high quality 3D printer for Christmas, and if this works for you I am going to have him print one for me.

I’m using Petg just because it’s what I have, and if you want to fire a blank, I think you’ll need to find a steel liner to line the inside of the barrel. It’s not hard to do that. But at some point you might start bumping up against the ATF and their ever changing rules

This is printed into two pieces and then glued together.

That looks good. How long did it take to print?
9hrs for these two pieces. I haven’t printed the end cap yet. And I need to come up with a rail mount. Although mounting it to the spot light would be bad ass.

Maybe I should just figure out how to mount a 12v spot light inside this thing and replace the spot light with it.

make it a double barrel cannon with two spot lights embedded.

Anyone have a spare search light that wants to donate it to the turret project?
