You will never get all the water out of some systems.
Too late when you find out after a cold winter.
I use this for all the systems on board, through a flush cap that I copyed from this website.
Flows enough for the motors at idle, airconditioners, dink motor, ect.
(No chance of an airlock with pink under pressure).
I have to run it through all the water system anyway.
Take it of leave it , it works great.

    Another one,
Leave your fridge DC power switch on when using AC power.
The unit will take AC if its there and when some helpful dockmate helps you out by unplugging your cord...Your batterys will keep the icecream from melting all over the carpet.
The batteries may last for a few days. Leaving the boat longer than that you just end up with a mess and dead batteries.
    Mark.

    Here are 3:

When winterizing your engines alone, fill a 5 gallon bucket with antifreeze and place a hose (slightly smaller than your fresh water intake hose) 4 inches up said hose. the other end will be in the 5 gallon bucket of anti freeze. start your engines, ensure pink is flowing out and shut engines off. Easy.

When changing your oil filter: Use a plastic shopping bag and place it around your oil filter. Turn filer and allow to drop into bag, thus preventing the DRIP on your engine room floor.

Never, and I mean never allow a cold beer to stand idle:)

If the straps holding down your bimini top "chatter", twist the strap a turn or two, then clip it down - it shortens the strap and stops the chatter.

I caught that too. Subtle, to the point, displaced by several days and hundreds of threads - all around well done : )

Just learned this one-- reattaching the canvas and glass on the flybridge, start the zippers a little first, then do all the snaps, then go back and zip up. Much easier than the other way around.

When it's time to change your impellers, put dish soap on them. They will slide in real easy.
Start engines and look for bubbles from your exhaust to see if there are working.

Don’t try cleaning the magma grill in the dish washer.

It does not get clean plus the igniter will stop working.

By the way, does anyone know how to get a magma grill igniter to start working again?

One of my hockey friends had told me that he keeps a bike inner tube handy to use as an emergency belt, as he can "customize the size" no matter what.

I asked, why not just buy extra belts and keep them on the boat?

    No answer. Typical hockey player.
