Power for cabin t.v.

If I remember correctly, I may have had to remove the drawer under the TV cabinet to access the screws that allow the disassembly of the TV cabinet. The cabinet is built like a jigsaw puzzle, once you get one panel removed, you gain access to more fasteners and before you know it, it's taken apart.

Thanks Scott, like I said earlier, I'm going back to the Marina this evening and give it another look see and if need be I'll take some pics and post if I don't see any screws to start with.

I just replaced my battery charger a couple of weeks ago so I'm very familiar with the way those panels come apart.

KK,

On my '05 340, the AC plug for the TV is on the bulkhead behind the TV. Slide the TV all the way out and look in there with a flashlight - you should see it. I plugged my digital converter in that plug.

Same. I extend my tv out for viewing on a regular basis. I looked behind it last night and there it is, plugged into the outlet directly behind the tv. Everything is black, so even in good light, I had to shine the flashlight.

My tv's power cord is wrapped in a bundle like your, but right before the bundle disappears into the cabinetry, the power wire takes a side track to the AC outlet as described.

I found it last night. I pulled the t.v. out as far as I could and reached under that back panel and started feeling around. 1st I felt something like a capacitor and then I moved to the right side (fore) and there it was. The box is mounted facing aft. It was a little struggle plugging up the new box so I unplugged the t.v. and moved it to the top side and then I was able to plug the new converter box in on the bottom side of the switch.

Again thanks to all who helped out.

I see yours is mounted on the the front of the back panel. Mine is mounted behind that panel and to the right as if it were mounted to the left side of the storage cabinet that is on the right side of the t.v. So it was never in plain view. I literally had to feel around for it.

Funny thing, my vent window motor crapped out for a while last night too. It happened a while back and I tapped on it and it came back to life. Last night I tapped on it again and it didn't work at first, but about 1/2 hour later I pushed the button and it opened and closed with no problem.
