Places along the way

The innovations Sea Ray puts into these boats are cool. I just noticed the defroster vents, and the dash a/c vents. Cool, very cool.
I hope that's what they are! haha

Heat and AC at the helm. life is hard.

Hey Rusty. You need somebody to ride along with you and carry your bags?
Cool Pics. Thanks for Sharing.

Best job in the world.....don't know about all of that but it's certainly better than dig'in ditches. Things happen and as Frank suggested, I do not pleasure cruise. I have to make way and that means I am untying around 5:30am every morning and not settling down for the night until I am tied up after dark.

Turtlesboat...you right on the mark and thank you for posting the pictures for me. I am not a sponsor because I am a factory employee and do not want to give the impression that my loyalty lies elsewhere. I do not have a lot of space on this site so I limit my entries.

want more?

Thanks for the pics. I realize it is work and that there is probably plenty of pressure on you at times. But, I feel safe in saying that almost all of us would either like to trade places with you for a short time, or as Chuck said carry your bags or tend your lines sometime.

I'm curious, you said you are a factory employee, so do you deliver boats form the factory to the retail dealers, or from the dealers to the end customer?

Every job has its benefits and challenges - it is just a matter of can one live with the challenges. From our perspective, we clearly see the benefits!

Thank you for sharing what you can and understand not being able to be a regular contributor.

Turtle - thanks for posting the pics - keep them coming. It is neet to see the big new stuff coming out of SRB.

No need to change jobs Art, just come with me. Remeber I am an OPF'er so it is better to have me and the card along for the ride.LOL

The majority of my deliveries are from the factory to the selling dealer or to a cargo ship, for loading to an overseas location. I seldom do cutomer deliveries as your selling dealers have their own captains for such task. I am available to a new owner upon request, should he or she want some production orientation....but seldom ask.

Art, I have passed you many times on my way to Port Everglades for ship loading. How about I call you on my next trip down and you can help put one on a ship with me.

Rusty, Thanks, absolutely count me in anytime.... sounds like a blast!!!!!
I'll PM you my phone number.

Gotta ask and show my ignorance, Frank also referred to you as OPF'er

Oh naaa, I wish you wouldn’t have told him that…there goes my whole rep, dang it! LOL

Ms. Mable at the Chicken Ranch had the best of times and all the respect from the men folk in town…but she was still Ms. Mable from the Chicken Ranch and an OPF’er.

I was a single Dad who raised two girls…I have a 1993 18CC Sea Ray Laguna and felt like I had to ask my grown daughters if I could buy it a few years ago. Cool thing is that I actually built the boat in the Merritt Island Plant. A Sea Ray boat that I built… Me, the boat, and the yellow lab, Babe fish out of Port Canaveral a lot.

Life is good !! ……. and even better in a Sea Ray boat !

Rusty

Rumor has it that you're the one driving the boats in the sea ray bikini videos.

I see you come down to my bend in the river... Let me know if you ever need any help down on RiverStreet. We dock there alot, especially this time of year. Great pics!
