Congrats and great pics of your new classic.

Lookin' good!

Thats one realy nice and good looking boat you got!:smt038
Could you please tell me about crusing speed, WOT-speed and what propellers you use?
How much is gas?

Really nice boat............nothing like boating on a Sea Ray !

Nice pics, but I gotta ask--how did you get the aerial shots? They look like they were taken from a chopper. Nice looking boat you have. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks a lot guys for the compliments!!!!

They were taken originally from a helicopter.

Only problem I see is that it is entirely too shiny <g>.

Seriously pretty boat and nice work with the helicopter.

Thanks a lot!!! I'm using 15.25x19 Mercury Mirage Plus SS props. I usually cruise at 3300 RPMs at 28 mph, burning 8 gph per motor, so 16 total GPH. Sometimes I bump up to 3500 RPMs at 31 mph, burning 9 gph per motor. So, I get around 1.75 mpg. WOT is 4600 RPM at 41.5 mph on GPS.

Really interesting stats! Thanks for sharing!
I recently bought mine so i haven't any reliable figures to share with you (if interested). What i know for a fact is that I have a wot-speed at 33.7 GPS knots (39mph) at about 4800rpm with my twin 4.3 LX. I also notice that i have to have different gear ratio than you because i have 21 pitch props (Vengeance).

Nope, we likely have the same gearing. 1.84:1. My boat had the 13.75x21 Vengeance props when I bought it. I was not really happy with my mid-range performance. Top speed was 40 mph at 4800, but I felt like I couldn't maintain slower planing speeds well.

So, I bought some used 15.25x19 Mirage props. Big diameter, lots of blade area, lots of grip, but 2" less pitch. Top speed went up 1.5 mph, RPMs dropped 200 even though I dropped 2" of pitch!! The reason is the Mirage props bite WAY more than those small Vengeance props. Less slippage, more traction.

Time to plane and midrange cruising improved a lot. I can set the throttle and forget it. Stays on plane easily at 2800 and 24 mph. Jumps out of the water a lot better.
