Hey fellas, here's some pics. of my woofers. My (stereo geek) friend recommended I try a Kicker as well that's why there's one in this shot next to th JL Audio.
I got to be honest, It hits as hard or harder and it costs 1/3 the price of the JL.It's also marine grade. I used the factory grills on the rear 6.5's. The 6.5's are
crossed over so there's no bass distortion in them.It makes them really sound clean. Look, there's still room for my first aid kit:lol:

Sorry about the goofy picture layout, I haven't quite got the hang of entering them properly yet. I'll figure it out one of these times.:smt038:smt101:smt024

looks good. Try moving the sub in new positions for best sound quality. I had a smaller searay with the sub facing almost downward. It ended up sounding the best for that sub/boat combo. Two bats, and an isolator was the way to go with bigger stereos. Good luck!!

I have over 300 watts going to them. Anymore bass would be redundant. Thanks for fixing my pics. First Born. Looks much better:smt038:thumbsup:I'll take your advice on that info.

Let me know when you're going out. I'll come along behind you and scoop up the dead fish.

Nice setup - what is the brand of the amp?

They are marine grade and the amp pushing the subs is a Soundstream DC 300 and the amp running the highs is a JL Audio 200watt. The Soundstream isn't marine grade, but, I have it mounted high up in my dash and I coated the connectors with silicone. Most marine grade speakers are polypropolyne or "plastic".
